MARION, VIRGINIA: JOSEPH TIMOTHY NICKOLS, age 52, died
Tuesday, July 09, 2013 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He was an employee of Long John Silvers Restaurant for 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Irene Nickols, a brother, John Thomas Nickols and a brother-in-law, Tommy Hash.
Joe is survived by his wife of 30 years, Trudy Greenway Nickols of Marion, Virginia; one sister, Judy Hash of Suffolk, Virginia; mother-in-law, Ruth Wingfield of Roanoke, Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Lily Alexander of Clemmons, North Carolina, Cindi Anderson, Richmond, Virginia; three brothers-in-law, John, Russell, and Donald Wayne Greenway all of Roanoke, Virginia; two aunts, Marie Bradds of Baltimore, Maryland and Bessie Nickolopoulos of Raleigh, North Carolina; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-
Brown Chapel with Pastor Dale Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
