Juanita Hartsell

Juanita Hartsell age 77, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her home.

Juanita was a loving wife, mom, nana and friend. She loved her family and they adored her. Juanita was a devout Catholic and devoted to her family. She will be missed terribly.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Zim and Irene Higginbotham; parents, Zim and Juanita Higginbotham; two brothers and one sister.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 60 years, James W. Hartsell of Marion, Va.; daughter, Lynda Hartsell of Martinsville, Va.; son, James D. Hartsell, Sr. of Lima, Oh.; four grandchildren, Jack Hartsell, James D. Hartsell Jr., Joshua Hartsell and Jordan Hartsell; two great-grandchildren, Garrett Hartsell and Grey Hartsell; two puppies, Bear and BooBoo.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12 noon at St. John's Catholic Church, 124 Park Boulevard, Marion, Va. with Father Chris Masla officiating.Private burial will be held in Round Hill Cemetery, Marion, Va.
