Juanita Meek

MARION, VIRGINIA: JUANITA CLIFTON MEEK, age 88, passed away peacefully, early Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at Carillion New River Valley Medical Center, Radford, Virginia. She was a life-long resident of Marion, Virginia. Most recently she resided at Wheatland Hills Retirement Center in Radford where she received loving and compassionate care. She was the widow of Charles C. Meek and was also preceded in death by a son, Bill. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Hal Etter of Helotes, Texas, Jean and Herbert Winebarger of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Dottie and Bill McKinnon of Christiansburg, Virginia; One son, Rick Meek of Marion, Virginia; Seven grandchildren, Brett Winebarger, Barry Winebarger, Melissa Meek, Cindy Fisher, Jimmy Meek, Lori Mefford, and Kelly McKinnon. Eleven great-grandchildren and a brother, E. H. Clifton of Lawrenceville, Georgia also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor James H. Bangle officiating. Burial will follow in Old Ebenezer Lutheran Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
