Judy L. Hall age 76, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Carrington Place of Wytheville.

Judy was a beautiful, kind, loving soul who would help anyone she could. She wore many hats in her life, wife, mother and grandmother, as well as working at Sugar Grove School in the lunchroom, Brunswick, and Dana Corporation. She enjoyed watching tv – especially the Lifetime channel and Days of Our Lives. Judy welcomed everyone in her home and often had a houseful. A frequent statement heard at her house was “If you go home hungry, it’s your own fault.” Judy loved her family deeply and is missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charles J. “Bunk” Hall; son, Charles Randall “Randy” Hall; daughter, Shelia Lynn Hall Goodman; parents, Lee Roy and Ethel Mae Martin; and sister, Betty Martin.

Judy is survived by her brothers, John Douglas Martin and Michael Wade Martin, both of Sugar Grove, Va.; grandchildren, Kayla Ayers of West Va.; Savannah Mae West of Charlotte, NC, Amanda Marie Ward, Katelyn Nicole Goodman, both of Sugar Grove, Va., Brandon Lee Goodman of Marion, Va., and Leilani Parado of Hawaii; great-grandchildren, Cloiae Jane Ayers of West Va., Aiden Ward, Keylei Barker, both of Sugar Grove, Va., Kaipo Octubre, Jr., Kaispan Octubre,

Kailani-Faith Octubre, Kalena-Nohea Pardo, Kaiyzlee-Raine Parado, and Keilani-Anela Parado, all of Hawaii; several nieces and nephews; special friends Bobbie Harrington, Billy Perkins and Kathy Rutherford.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 3, 2023 from 2 until 4 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. with Pastor Billy Gwinn officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Slemp Cemetery, 234 Horne Hollow Road, Sugar Grove, Va. 24375.
