Judy L. Kegley

CHILHOWIE, Va.

Judy L. Kegley, age 58, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va.

Judy was born February 18, 1959 in Jacksonville, Fla. to the late William Thomas and Eleanor Ann Salter. She was a loving mother, companion, sister and friend to anyone who knew her. She loved yard sales, reading and thoroughly enjoyed taking rides through the country. Judy lived for her grandchildren, and she will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Kristina Renee Salter.

Judy is survived by her companion of 20 years, Avery Osborne; son, Scott Kegley (Bri); brother, Jeff Salter (Vicky) all of Chilhowie, Va.; grandchildren, Jonathan Kegley and Conner Kegley; nephews, Jordan Salter and Shane Goodpasture; numerous cousins and friends; and special friend, Cathy Hostetter of Chilhowie, Va.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
