June Evans, age 91, passed away Friday, March 03, 2023 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Va.

June was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Louis Evans; parents, Elder Raymond and Verna Dancy; brothers, Carl Dancy and wife, Virginia, Quentin Dancy and wife, Mabel, Blaine Dancy and wife, Olievene; sister, Violet Blevins and husband, Ben.

June is survived by one special sister JoAnn Branch of Wytheville, Va .; one special sister-in- law, Wanda Wyatt of Sparta, N.C.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Special thanks to nephew Don Blevins and wife, Pat for their watch and care when she lived at home; special niece, Kathy Parker, who she was very close to and loved dearly.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Francis Marion Manor for the loving care she was given as well as Seaver-Brown Funeral Home and Blake Frazier for their care and compassion during the death of Louis and June.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 06, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Elder Larry Blevins, Elder Benny Blevins and Elder John Fields  officiating. Family will receive friends from 1p.m. until 2 p.m. Burial will be private in Thomas Cemetery, 607 Thomas Bridge Road, Marion, Va.
