MARION, Va.
Kara James Hutton, age 39, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at her home.
Kara loved her life, her kids, and the ones who called her Momma K. A couple of her happiest places on earth were on the beach or at the end of her driveway taking pictures of the sunset. Kara loved her people, but also her four legged friends – especially her cat Wrangler – the donkey, Festus, her dogs, sheep and horse. The family is comforted today knowing that Kara is in no more pain and stands with Jesus on the other side of those sunsets.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Doran James.
Kara is survived by her husband, Johnny Otis Hutton of Marion, Va.; daughters, Kalia I. James of Marion, Va., Danielle Figareau and husband, Philip of Woodbridge, Va.; son, Maverick Hutton and wife, Heather of Marion, Va.; mother, Doris Jean James of Palm Bay, Fla.; sister, Brianna Morales and husband, Henry of Melbourne, Fla.; brother, Mark Doran James, Jr. of Felton, Del.; six grandchildren, Dominic, Dereon, Taraji, Kristian, Anastasia and Harleigh; grandmother, Jeannie Ulander of Melbourne, Fla.; special aunt, Laurie Hayes of Palm Bay, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
