Karen Lynne Blankenship

Pulaski, Va.

 Karen Lynne Blankenship age 65, passed away Friday, May 05, 2023 at her home.

Karen had an enormous heart that was filled with nothing but love for her family. No matter what she gave them her unconditional support. She also had a soft spot for animals of all kinds, especially dogs. She enjoyed nature and was an avid gardener who could grow anything from a sunflower patch, to trees, flowers and the biggest tomato’s you ever seen. She was also the family chef who made the best enchiladas or macaroni and cheese. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

 She was preceded in death by her life partner, Charles Gates; parents, Mason Clyburn and Mary Odum; brother, Chris Odum; and sister, Sandy Harris.

 Karen is survived by her daughters, Lindsey Watkins(James Heath) and Shannon Honaker (John); sisters, Patsy Cox-Stewart and Louise Whitlow-Whichard; brothers, Harry Lucas and Andre Lucas; four grandchildren, Sydney Heath, Ronnie Honaker, Mary Deare, Jonathan Honaker; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Andrea Bailey her niece who she loved dearly and held close to her heart; special friends, Ella Mae Bryan, Diane Huff and Beverly Justice; and special spiritual leader, Morris Clyburn who led Karen back to the lord.

 All services will be private.
