Katherine Stone

MARION, VIRGINIA: KATHERINE ELIZABETH KIRK STONE, age 82, died Monday, April 16, 2007 at her home. She was retired from American Furniture and was a member of Valley View Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Muncy G. Stone. She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Phyllis Wilma Ford and Shirley Diane and Edsel West both of Sugar Grove, Virginia, and Wilma Faye Altizer of Christiansburg, Virginia. Three sons and a daughter-in-law, Muncy Glenn and Laura Stone of Sugar Grove, Virginia; Lewis James Stone of Draper, Virginia; and Robert J. Stone of Marion, Virginia. Five sisters, Pauline Pickle and Helen Burns both of Marion, Virginia; Opal Stamper of Chilhowie, Virginia; Charlotte Childress of Spartansburg, South Carolina; and Carol Caldwell of Bluefield, West Virginia. Four brothers, Ralph E. Kirk of Catawba, Virginia; James W. Kirk of Christiansburg, Virginia; Eugene Lowman of Sugar Grove, Virginia; and Ray Lowman of Maryland; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Roger Frost officiating. Burial will follow in West Cemetery.
