MARION, VIRGINIA; KELLY "Aught-Boots" HAYDEN, age 74, died Wednesday, December 07, 2005 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He was born in Smyth County to the late Tommy E. and Myrtle Kestner Hayden. Kelly was a self taught furniture maker with furniture located world wide, founder of Oak Hollow Woodworks and Thomas Bridge Cabinet Shop. He was an avid horseman and a charter member of Old Virginia Wagon and Saddle Club. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hayden of Marion, Virginia; three daughters and sons in-law, Susan and Rick Simons of Hampton, Virginia, Tammy and Ron Long of Palm Harbor, Florida, Robin and Dayl Coomer of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, Christopher Hayden of Johnson City, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Angela Reedy and husband, Tony of Marion, Virginia; one step-son, Brandon Johnson and wife, Anne Marie of Marion, Virginia; four sisters and two brothers in-law, Betty Keene of Marion, Virginia, Nancy Hayden of Rural Retreat, Virginia, Judy and Junior Stamper of Lenoir, North Carolina and Shirley and Ronnie Hall of Marion, Virginia; one brother and sister in-law, Irby and Annie Ruth Hayden of Marion, Virginia; six grandchildren, Brandon Simons, Kelly Long, Brian Simons, Michelle Long, Danielle Reedy and Austin Reedy; two great-grandchildren, Darrin Long and Danielle Long. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 9, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Roger Frost officiating. Graveside Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Mausoleum, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until the time of the services at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Adwolfe Fire Department, P.O.
