SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: KIMBERLY ANN PIERCE DAVIS, age 29, passed away after a brave battle with Juvenile Diabetes in Louisville, Tennessee on Thursday, August 23, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Marietta and Oscar Pierce of Sugar Grove, Virginia and maternal grandfather, Roy H. Burke, Jr. of Marion, Virginia.
She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends for her faith in God, her strength in adversity, her optomistic outlook, and her love of animals.
She is survived by her son, Trystan Davis; father, William C. (Bill) Pierce and devoted stepmother, Mary Ann Pierce of Sugar Grove, Virginia; mother, Ann Burke Higgins of Largo, Florida; brother, Roy Owen Higgins, II of Largo, Florida; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Roy H. Burke, Jr. of Largo, Florida (formerly of Marion, Virginia); step-brother, Reece White, and step-sister, Holly White both of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; step-grandmother, Lalah Fleming of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; aunt, Peggy Beville and husband Charles of Clearwater, Florida; and Kim was very blessed to have a loving, caring and supportive aunt Betty and uncle Fred Devitt of Delray, Florida. Several cousins also survive.
Graveside service will be held, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Virginia with Reverend Charles Leonard officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
