MARION, VIRGINIA: LESSIE DARNELL MARTIN, age 91, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Francis Marion Manor in Marion, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Martin. Lessie is survived by her daughters, Louise Wassum and husband, James, and Debbie Waskey; sons, Joe Martin and Roy Lee Martin and wife, Nancy all of Marion, Virginia; step-son, Arthur Martin and wife Carol and step-daughter, Bertha Campbell all of Sugar Grove, Virginia. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. A private burial will be held at Round Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
