Linda Anderson Doyle

Linda Anderson Doyle age 79, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Senior Home Share, Wytheville, Va. 

Linda was the daughter of James Arlie and Mary Thelma Anderson. She was a 1963 graduate of Marion High School. She was married to the late Robert Allen “Bobby” Doyle and lived in Wytheville for 42 years. Working in Wytheville, she was employed by the United Telephone Company for 15 years and Humphrey Hotels in Silver Springs Maryland for 5 years. Linda moved back to Marion in 2014 and became employed by the District Three for 6 years, a position which she found most rewarding. She was a member of the East End Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching womens class while attending as well as attending Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church. Linda was an avid supporter and enthusiast for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA.) She enjoyed her yardwork, flower beds, piano and reading. 

Her philosophy in life was work hard, love God and family and make friends along the way would make for a great journey. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Arlie H. Anderson, John C, Anderson and Robert M. Anderson; sisters, Dorothy Stevenson and Shirley Helton; very special nephew, Roger Anderson.

Linda is survived by her brother Neal Anderson (Minnie Ann) of Marion, Va.; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jean Brooks and Becky Williams. 

The family will receive friends, Friday, May 31, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion, Va. 24354. Services will begin at 12 p.m. with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Mausoleum, 4410 Lee Highway, Marion VA 24354.
