Linda Dean, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, after a brief but severe illness. Linda was a devoted mother, faithful friend, dedicated employee, and committed follower of Jesus Christ. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, service, laughter, and love and will be missed by all who knew her.
On July 2, 1954, Linda was born to William Blevins and Dorothy “Dot” Blevins in Fairfax, Virginia. In 1978 she began a career at Brunswick (now General Dynamics)that spanned 44 years. Linda was dedicated to her work as a Senior Advanced Supply Chain Specialist and was especially proud of her contributions to projects for the U.S. military. Her true calling in life was to nurture others, which she lived out by being a wonderful mother to Savanna, as well as loving and caring for animals and serving as a volunteer with the youth group at church. Many lives were touched by Linda’s compassion and care for others, and that is how she will be remembered most.
