Linda Keesling Shrader, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Carrington Place, Wytheville, Va. 

Linda was a loving mother and grandmother. She was always happy, smiling and had a positive influence for everyone around her especially during her hardest times. Linda loved church, gardening, embroidery and watching soap operas. Her loving way will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Shrader; daughter, Terrie Mays; grandson, Jonathon Ball; parents, Clinton and Josephine Keesling.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kim Horne of Sugar Grove, Va.; sons, Richard Williams of Sugar Grove, Va., Michael Williams (Laura) of Fort Smith, Mont.; brother, Jack Keesling (Betsy) of Kingsport, Tenn.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 30, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Wharf Hill United Methodist Church, 5522 Sugar Grove Hwy, Sugar Grove Va, 24375. Services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor David Medley officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn cemetery.
