MARION, VIRGINIA: LOIS LOWMAN ROBINSON, age 66, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at her home in Marion, Virginia.
Lois described by her mother as a wonderful daughter, became a loving wife of forty four years, a dedicated mommy and an amazing granny to her seven grandchildren. For as long as most can remember, the children in her Valley View Baptist Church Sunday School class could count on her smile and her gentle guidance each week. Lois loved her Lord and it was made known to the youth of her church, her friends and her family not just on Sundays, but everyday.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Lowman; sister, Linda Sue Lowman and son-in-law, Keith Clark.
Lois is survived by her husband Early C. "Johnny" Robinson of Marion, Virginia; one daughter, Julie Clark of Atkins, Virginia; two sons, Joe Robinson and wife, Angie and George Robinson and wife, Jill all of Marion, Virginia; her mother, Sadie Martin Lowman of Sugar Grove, Virginia; two brothers, Donald Lowman of Sugar Grove, Virginia and Ronald Lowman and wife, Rita of Tannersville, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Megan Brooke Robinson, Kasey Jo Robinson, Katelyn Noel Robinson, Alexander Cephas Robinson, Benjamin Robinson Clark, Samuel Walker Clark and Hunter James Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church, Sugar Grove Virginia with Pastor Roger Frost and Brother Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Mrs. Robinson's body will be taken to the church to lie in state one hour before the funeral service.
