VALLEY CITY, OHIO LOLA JACKSON PRUITT, age 90, died Monday, August 1, 2016 at Life Care Center, Medina, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Ford Pruitt; parents, Clyde and Emma Buchanan Jackson; sisters, Hazel Pruitt and Addie Brooks; and son-in-law, Charles Jones. Mrs. Pruitt is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and G. Mitchell Harmon of Huntington, W. Va., Peggy Jones of Cleveland, Tenn., and Brenda and Joseph Hylton of Valley City, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Dorothy Pruitt of Gainesville, Fla.; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Marion, Va. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
