CERES, Va.

 

Lynda Sisco Hays left this world and a beautiful legacy with her daughter, Michael DuVall, holding one hand and her beloved granddaughter, Rio Ward, holding the other on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

 

She went on to reunite with her husband, Calvin Hays; parents, Doris Hunter and Bill Hunter; her only sister, Phyllis Brown; and many little dogs who are waiting with wagging tails.

 

She will always remain in the hearts of those who already dearly miss her including her grandson, Dante DuVall; two great-granddaughters, Lily Semple and Ruby Conner; nephews, Steven Alexander, Kurtis van Sant, Phillip Frady and his beloved wife, Annette Frady; rat terrier, Jazmyn. She will also be missed by her many kind friends from her church and community whose lives she enriched and who was enriched in kind.

 

All who’s lives were touched by this special lady are asked to join the family in a Celebration of Life Friday, December 30, 2022 at 6 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Klumpp officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Cameron United Methodist Church, 171 Cameron Church Road, Gurley, Ala. 35748.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the ASPCA in her name.
