Margaret Cressell

MARION, VIRGINIA: MARGARET L. CRESSELL, age 90, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Virginia. Margaret was a faithful member of Fox Creek Baptist Church for many years and presently attended Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church. She loved God and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Cressell. Margaret is survived by one daughter, Mary Maynard and husband, Gary of Crestview, Florida; one son, Edward Cressell and wife, Sue of Bristol, Tennessee; two sisters, Pat Pennington of Troutdale, Virginia, and Irene Taylor of Palatine, Illinois; one brother, Robert Lovelace of Roanoke, Virginia; three grandchildren; one step-grandchild; seven great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Graveside Services will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Gardens, Atkins, Virginia.
