Marvin Blankenbeckler

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: MARVIN J. BLANKENBECKLER, age 86, of Sugar Grove, Virginia and Littleton, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 23, 2006 in Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. He was a native of Sugar Grove, Virginia and was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Blankenbeckler and a brother, Clay Blankenbeckler. He is survived by one son, Marvin Blankenbeckler, Jr. and wife, Brenda of Sugar Grove, Virginia; One daughter, Joyce Cox and husband, Charlie of Lake Gaston, North Carolina; and One sister, Zola Wolfe of Stuart, Virginia. Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Donald Medley officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
