Mary Bright

RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA: MARY NANNY BRIGHT, age 84, born September 5, 1926 in Tazewell, Virginia passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at the home of her sister with her loving family by her side. She was a daughter of the late Glen and Sylvinia Waters White in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bright; one infant daughter, Loretta Bright; one son, Buddy Bright; two brothers, John and Raymond White; and one sister Helen Vandyke. Survivors include two sons, Billy Bright and wife Bertie Mae of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Jimmy Bright of Rural Retreat, Virginia; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, whom she lived with, Bertha Deel; two brothers, George and James White. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to special caregivers Pat Story, Renee Cox, and Tammy Wagner of Total Home Care and Hospice for the loving care they have provided. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 24, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Brother David Farmer and Brother Paul White officiating. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia.
