Mary Greer

MARY KATE COOK GREER, age 75, widow of Worth E. Greer, died Friday, July 20, 2007, in Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee. She is survived by one son Steven Douglas Greer of Atkins, Virginia; two grandchildren, Mista Nicole Greer and Caleb Andrew Greer, both of Marion, Virginia; one sister, Maude Moore and husband, Tom, of Marion, Virginia; three sisters-in law, Edith Cox , Vella Harmon and Velma Cook, all of Marion, Virginia; one brother-in-law, Rex Greer and wife Ruth, of Atkins, Virginia; two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Betty Williams and Helen Waddell also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 23, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Donna Hester officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
