Mary Snyder

MARY PRESTON CREWEY SNYDER, age 84, died Friday, December 24, 2010 in Wythe County Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert Ray and Mazie Pearl Burchett Crewey. She was a loving and devoted mother. Her main interests were fashion and fitness. She was a cosmetician at Vandervort's Department Store in St. Louis, Missouri. For the past ten years, she had lived in this area near her sisters. She is survived by two sons, Douglas Stamper of Hampton, New Hampshire and Leslie Snyder of Rural Retreat, Virginia; one daughter, Karen Mizerany of Belview, Illinois; three sisters, Louise Horne of Rural Retreat, Virginia, Kathleen Vaught of Shoshone, Idaho and Ruth Alley of Abingdon, Virginia; two granddaughters, Karen Mizerany Tapper and Mary Beth Mizerany; two great grandchildren, Eaden and Ellias also survive. The family will receive friends Monday, December 27, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
