ESCONDIDO, CALIFORNIA: MARY LEE KILLEN WILLIAMS, age 76, died Friday, December 31, 2004 in Escondido, California. She was born on April 19, 1928 in Freeman, West Virginia, to the late Guy Killen and Bircha Fay Blevins Killen, moving back to Marion, Virginia at an early age to live with her mother and her grandparents. She graduated from Marion High School and Roanoke Business College and worked for many years as a bookkeeper and secretary for Lincoln Industries and as an Executive Secretary and paralegal for a number of other businesses in Virginia, Maryland, and Florida. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martha and Baxter Blevins, her husband, Earl Williams of Miami, Florida where she had lived for 25 years. She is survived by three cousins, Margaret Hall of Atlanta, Georgia; Betsy Testerman of Panama City, Florida; and David Blevins of Newport News, Virginia. A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, March 28, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating at the Baxter-Blevins Family Plot in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia.
