Maude Ross

MOUNTAIN CITY, TENNESSEE: MAUDE PETTY ROSS, age 95, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Watauga Medical Center in Boone, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Guy T. Ross; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Jean Ross; two brothers, Ray Petty and Walter Petty; three sisters Willie Mae Petty Hall, Ethel Petty Lee and Irene Petty Blevins. Maude is survived by two grandsons Todd Ross and wife, Amy of Tucson, Arizona and David Ross of Mountain City, Tennessee; four great-grandsons Timothy Ross, Christopher Ross, Joshua Ross, and David Ray Ross; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Leonard Fletcher officiating. Private burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
