Mickey Breeding

Mickey Breeding, age 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Davenport, Virginia, Sunday, January 7, 2024.

Mick was born in Grundy, Virginia, February 15, 1958 to the late Woodrow and Stella Rose Breeding. He graduated from Council High School in 1976; throughout his life he was employed as a brick and block mason. Mick's good humor and generous spirit touched everyone he met.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Ira Curtis Rasnake; sister Wilma Deel; brother Wayne Breeding; sister-in-law Darlene Breeding; nephews Freddie Joe Breeding and Jeff Rose.

Mick is survived by his loving wife of 42 Years, Alma Rasnake Breeding; daughter Carrie and son-in-law Erik Vance; grandson Aiden Vance; mother-in-law Fayrene Rasnake; twin brother Rick (Audrey) Breeding; other siblings include Darlene (Barry) Miller, Raymond (Danie) Breeding, Louella (John) Bartee, Fred (Pat) Breeding, Sally Nadene (Dan) Walker, Lois (Charles) Rose, William Breeding; sister-in-law Kathy Breeding; and numerous additional family and friends.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date.
