Minnie Webb

MARION, VIRGINIA --- MINNIE ROARK WEBB, age 89, widow of George Henry Webb, died Monday, August 21, 2006 in Smyth County Community Hospital. Born August 12, 1917 to the late Ruben and Callie Davidson Roark she was a member of the Church of God and was a devoted caretaker of her invalid husband for many years. Minnie was a sweet and talented person. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and many close friends from the Marion Senior Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Roby Hayden and Rev. Wade Kestner officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
