MARION, VIRGINIA: MITCHELL L. BARKER, age 74, died Friday, January 14, 2005 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He is survived by five sisters, Ola Willis of Bristol, Tennessee; June Greer of Troutdale, Virginia; Pauline Reedy of Grassy Creek, Virginia; Bruxie Snider of Maryland; and Faye Cooper of Ypsilanti, Michigan. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 16, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Grayson County, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the funereal home from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
