MARION, Va.
MOLLY DALTON HESTER, age 37, became a guardian angel, Tuesday, April 18, 2017.
Molly Hester had a contagious smile that would fill a room. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, wife and mother. Her girls were the light in her eyes and her family, the light of life. Molly and Brent enjoyed quiet times in the woods hunting with the girls or at their church, First United Methodist. She was a once in a lifetime friend who made you feel special one on one, or in a group with Brantley Gilbert country music fans and friends. Molly loved to have people in her home, being on the water, and working in the garden. There are people who fill our lives with so much love and joy – Molly was that friend, and her presence will be missed; but her memory will live forever in the hearts of Brent, Payton, Dalton and a multitude of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Garrett and Madeline Dalton; and paternal grandparents, Reuben and Ruth Money.
Molly is survived by her loving husband, Brent Hester; twin daughters, Payton Lynn Hester and Dalton Marie Hester; mother, Gay Overbay and husband, Charlie all of Marion, Va.; father Rick Money and wife, Marla of Chilhowie, Va.; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Sherry Hester of Marion, Va.; special grandparents, Benny and Drema Robinson, William and Frances Hester, and Jiles and Denny Collins; sister-in-law, Kayla Hester Winebarger and husband, Julius; nephew, Ross Winebarger; long time friend and "mother", Jill Buck and husband, David and Molly's "little sister", Jessica; special friends, April and Alan Morgan, Courtney Morgan and Josh Taylor, Stephanie and Chase Hopkins, Melissa Carrico and husband, John, Kevin and Tina Testerman, Hoppy and Niki Hopkins, and a host of friends and family who meant so much to Molly.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend David Woody officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
