BLOUNTVILLE, TENNESSEE: NORMA BEIDLEMAN KEY, age 77, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Bristol, Tennessee on October 22, 1939 to the late Lewis and Ethel Harless Rouse. Norma was a member of Avoca Christian Church in Bristol, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Holston Valley High School, where she graduated salutatorian. She attended King College and was employed for many years by the Raytheon Company in Bristol, Tennessee where she made lifelong friends. She later owned and operated the Brush & Ladder Company with her first husband, Joe Beidleman. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She truly never met a stranger and greeted all with an enthusiastic smile. Norma held a passionate love for all animals, most especially for her beloved friend and companion “Gracie”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Beidleman; sister, Phyllis R. Crusenberry; and brother-in-law, Mal Brown.
Norma is survived by her husband, Dennis A. Key of Blountville, TN; two daughters, Connie B. Dancaster and husband, Richard of Hallandale Beach, Florida and Patricia B. Livingston and husband, Marty of Maryville, Tennessee; four sisters, Bobbie Jo Carty and husband, Mike of Bristol, Tennessee, Carol R. Sullins and husband, Ernie of Marion, Virginia, Peggy R. Hickman and husband, Fred of Bristol, Tennessee and Sharon R. Brown of Marion, Virginia; three granddaughters, Whitney Dancaster, Carly Dancaster and Haley Livingston; brother-in-law, Larry Crusenberry of Bristol, Tennessee; seven nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Glenwood Cemetery, Bristol, Tennessee with Reverend Bob Robinson officiating.
