Patricia Barton

MARION, VIRGINIA: PATRICIA LYNN BARTON, age 47, passed away early Monday morning, September 10, 2007 while at home with her family after a long battle with illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Boyd "Bo" and Sarah Gowins, and her brother-in-law, Leon Wright. Lynn grew up in Marion, Virginia achieving degrees from Wytheville Community College, Virginia Intermont College, and an MBA from King College. She worked her entire career at Brunswick Defense, Marion Composites, and General Dynamics. She was a sincere thoughtful person who spent her life helping and caring for others. Lynn was a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and has now left this world to be with Him. Lynn is survived by her husband, Greg Barton of Marion, Virginia; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cary and Justin Lampkins and Erika Barton all of Marion, Virginia and one sister, Brenda Wright of Dry Fork, Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
