Paul Harvey Kilgore

KINGSPORT, TENN.

Paul Harvey Kilgore, age 52, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020. 

Paul was born at St. Mary’s hospital in Norton, Virginia, to Larry and Lutricia “Lucy” Kilgore on January 24, 1968. He attended Powell Valley SDA Christian School in Olinger, Virginia from the Southern section of Big Stone Gap, Virginia. He grew up working in his family’s businesses, became a skilled flooring installer and enjoyed working with managers, crew, friends and family. Paul was a loyal friend, compassionate caregiver and loving companion who spent his life surrounded by friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Larry along with his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Paul is survived by his children, Robbie Mabe, Sedina Vaughn, Cassandra Shelton and Misty Kilgore; mother, Lutricia Kilgore; sisters, Rebecca Sturgill and Karen Kilgore; partner, Jennifer Crawford; special nephew, P.J. Sturgill; nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
