Peggy Sayers

MARION, VIRGINIA: PEGGY HALL SAYERS, age 80, died Monday, May 31, 2004, in Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home. Born on October 24th, 1923 in Bluefield, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Crismond and Hazel Crockett Hall. She attended Bluefield College and was employed with the U.S. Geological Survey for a number of years and was a member of Saint John's Catholic Church of Marion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Clay Sayers in 1970. Surviving are one son, William C. "Billy" Sayers of Marion and several cousins. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 10:30a.m. at Saint John's Catholic Church with Father Paul Maier and Father Robert Krenik as the celebrants. Burial will follow in the Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
