Phillip Ramon Garza, Sr.

MARION, Va.

Phillip Ramon Garza, Sr., age 80, formerly of Marion, Va., passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Advent Health, Land O’ Lakes, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Garza; mother, Frances Davis; sister, Josephine McNeil; brothers, Harold Garza and Gary Sexton; and aunt, Josephine Garza.

Phillip is survived by his son, Phillip Garza, Jr. and wife, Kathleen; sister, Connie Garza-Dalton; sister-in-law, Julie Sexton; nieces, Rhonda Russell, Donna Horne Smith, Susie Horne, Kathy Rutherford and Gayle Garza McWhorter.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Rose Lawn Mausoleum with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the U.S. Army Funeral Honors Guard and Francis Marion VFW Post #4667.
