MARION, VIRGINIA: RALPH E. CARTER, age 68, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnston City, Tennessee. He is survived by friends, Patricia and Charles Vanhoy and Helen and Jackie Reedy all of Marion, Virginia, as well as, a multitude of other good friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Mike Sage and Mr. Larry Smith officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Rose Lawn Cemetery where Military Rites will be conducted by Francis Marion VFW Post # 4667. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service or at anytime at his home on 302 Iron Street, Marion, VA 24354.
