Raymond Sexton

RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA: RAYMOND GARY SEXTON, age 58, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Johnson City Medical Center. Gary was born January 24, 1953 in Smyth County to the late Art and Margaret Bell Sexton. He was a free spirited man with many friends and was known throughout Smyth County. He is survived by six aunts, Mary Bell Handy of Dublin, Virginia; Jackie Ellison of Atkins, Virginia; Marie Autry of Monroe, North Carolina; Nancy Duck of Wytheville, Virginia; Lucy Bell of Rural Retreat, Virginia and Anne Bell of Atkins, Virginia; two uncles, Richard Sexton and Thornton Sexton, both of Atkins, Virginia; special cousin, Lloyd Sexton of Atkins, Virginia; and numerous cousins. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Eddie Beck officiating.
