Renee Ramey

SUGAR GROVE, Va.; RENEE LEANN RAMEY, age 33, died Monday, October 19, 2015 at her home. Renee was a very loving wife to her husband Travis. She was a wonderful mother to her children. She enjoyed working with her flowers and playing with her dog Zeus. She was a constant student and appreciated education. Renee was studying Early Childhood Development and Veterinary Assistant courses in her spare time. Children and animals held a special place in her heart. Renee will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linden Russell Ramey, Jr. and Racheal Elaine Walters Ramey. Renee is survived by her husband, Travis Ray Greer; daughters, Allyson McKenna Greer and, Cameron Rhea Greer all of Sugar Grove, Va.; sister, Rhonda Dove and husband, Chip of Culpepper, Va.; brothers, Rodney Ramey and wife, Paige of Madison County, Va. and Randy Ramey of Romney, WVa.; second mother, Brenda Lacy of Madison County, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend David Neitch officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
