ATKINS, VIRGINIA: ROBERT E. "DUDE" CLYBURN, age 72, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. He was born July 13, 1934 to the late Uriel and Stella Clark Clyburn. He was a member of Nick's Creek Presbyterian Church. Mr. Clyburn retired from Merillat Corporation, where he had worked for many years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Fred and one sister, Edna Mae Freeman. He is survived by his wife, Edith Osborne Clyburn of Atkins, Virginia; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Keith Spencer of Troutdale, Virginia; two sisters, Jean Jones of Atkins, Virginia and Ann Thomas of Marion, Virginia; two brothers, Bill Clyburn of Marion, Virginia and Carold Clyburn of Glade Spring, Virginia; two grandchildren, Casey and Dalton Spencer; special friends, Bufford and Brandon Brown; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 16, 2007 at Seaver-Brown Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William T. Wing, III officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smyth County Humane Society, P.O.
