Bob was a Jack of All Trades and a Master of most of them. A musician, licensed pilot, and expert heavy equipment operator who once ran equipment listed in the Guiness Book as world's largest. Equipment and earth moving were his passion not his career, starting at age 7 with a farm tractor and ending in December of 2012 due only to illness. He often said "if you have a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life." Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Kell Morgan of Marion; one son and daughter-in-law, Alan and April Morgan of Marion, two grandchildren, Corey and Courtney Morgan; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Willine Kell of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Yvonne Runyon of Bristol, Tennessee; one niece and three nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Sam Vernon, Dr. Jennifer Jonkers, Dr. Marguerite Lippert, Dr. Sue Prill, Dr. Michael Lenhart, Nurse Practioner Kathy Sharpe, and their staff, and to Hospice of Southwest Virginia. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Steve Aker officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
