Robert Reedy

MARION, VIRGINIA: ROBERT RAY "BOB" REEDY, age 66, died Thursday, October 21, 2004 in Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Army. He was born in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Jack and Hattie Sexton Reedy. Mr. Reedy moved to Smyth County as a youth. He was a self-employed carpenter. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Rhea Reedy of Chilhowie, Virginia and Jennifer Rae McGlothlin of Marion, Virginia; One sister, Pat Henderson of Abingdon, Virginia; Two stepdaughters, Marcy Hicks of Bluff City, Tennessee and Rhonda Goodman of Marion, Virginia; Two stepsons, Greg Snavely and Robbie Snavely both of Marion, Virginia; Three grandchildren, Donna Rae, Tyler Jordan and Eva Jean; Several step grandchildren and his long time best friend, his Boston terrier "P-Bear". Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Mike Sage officiating, the family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia.
