MARION, VIRGINIA: ROBERT TRIVITT, age 64, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
Robert loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed truck-driving and carpentry work. Mr. Trivitt was an understanding and loving father. He was very loved by his family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Callie Rottenberry Trivitt, father Riley Trivitt and sister, Barbara Ann Trivitt.
He is survived by the love of his life for 42 years, Linda Trivitt; children, Susan Trivitt Walsh of Marion, Virginia, Rebecca Trivitt Cardwell and husband Jimmy (Jimbo) of Marion, Virginia, Diane C. Phipps and husband Dwight of Marion, Virginia, Fred T. Pennington and wife, Donna of Marion, Virginia, Sarah Blankenbeckler and husband Jimmy of Adwolf, Virginia and Mazie Hamby and husband Tommy of Hudson, North Carolina; grandchildren, Karli Walsh, Justin Walsh, Owen Gragg, Autumn Gragg, Wendi Haga all of Marion Virginia, Amanda Kestner and husband Lee of Rural Retreat, Virginia, Terry Blankenbeckler, T. J. Blankenbeckler of Adwolf, Virginia, Philip Hamby and wife Amber, Lainey Hamby of Hudson, North Carolina, Cory Hamby and wife Erin of Granite Falls, North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Mia and Landon Ferley, Brooklyn (Loo Loo) Haga, Millie Kestner, Sophia and Dawson Hamby, Corbin Hamby; sisters and brothers, Katherine Trivitt Tuggle and husband Doug, Charles Trivitt and wife Dana, Richard Trivitt and wife Terrie, Ronnie Trivitt, Curtis Trivitt and Reatha Baker; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at West Cemetery, Marion, Virginia with Reverend Tommy Hamby officiating and Military Rites will be conducted by Francis Marion VFW Post # 4667. The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
