Ronald Puckett

MARION, VIRGINIA: RONALD JAMES PUCKETT, age 61, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at The University of Alabama Hospital at Birmingham. He was born June 22, 1950 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Thomas Greever and May Elizabeth Asbury Puckett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jasper Puckett. Ronald is survived by three sons, Ronald Puckett II and wife, Tina of Trussville, Alabama; Heath Puckett and wife, Victoria of Hoover, Alabama; and Travis Puckett and fiancée, Diana Baker of Rural Retreat, Virginia; four sisters, Jeanette Gibson and husband, Paul of Charlotte, North Carolina; Judy Suits of Marion, Virginia; Freda Evans and husband, Carson of Tazewell, Virginia; and Nadine Clary of Titusville, Florida; a sister-in-law, Fay Puckett of Tavares, Florida; five grandchildren, Alex, Lexi, Aidan, Noah and Jacob; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Kenny Price officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
