MARION, VIRGINIA: ROSE MARY TUCKER BOX, age 80, widow of W. Kennard Box, died Sunday, April 11, 2004 at her home in Marion, Virginia. She was a longtime member of Greenwood United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one brother, C.W. Tucker and two grandchildren, Jason Dalton and Tim Jarvis. Mrs. Box is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Tom Jarvis of Johnson City, Tennessee and Brenda and Bob Raines of Princeton, West Virginia. One sister, Maxine Box of Marion, Virginia. One grandson, Chris Jarvis and wife, Rachel of Johnson City, Tennessee. Three great-grandchildren, Kelsey Dalton, Jacob Davis, and Andrew Jarvis. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Teague and Dr. Wayne Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
