Rosena Mae Harris

Rosena Mae Harris age 86, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Va.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Stonewall J. Harris; four sisters, Carol Haulsee, Edna Barrett, Barbara Frye, Wanda Sexton; four brothers, James Norman, Luther Norman, Claude Norman and Larry Norman.

 Rosena is survived by her daughter Mae Carrico and husband, Allen of Marion, Va.; three sons, Charles Rodney Shew of Martinsville, Va., David Eugene Shew of Marion, Va. and Dennis Ray Shew of Abingdon, Va.; one sister, Janet Stallard and husband, Joe of Saltville, Va.; three brothers, Roger Norman and wife, Mary, Benny Norman and wife, Karen all of Marion, Va. and Jerry Norman of Castlewood, Va.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and their families. 

 The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Valley Health Care Center for the care given to Rosena.

 The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 11 am until 12 noon at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion, Va. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Blake Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Wassum Cemetery, 5549-5557 Lee Highway, Atkins VA 24311.
