Marion, Va.
Sherry Henderson Wilson, age 53, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at her home.
She was born June 12, 1963 to Tracy and Faye Henderson. Sherry Wilson never met a stranger and lived her life with a contagious smile and her priorities in order. Her love of God, family, life and all animals was evident in the way she lived. Sherry was a loving, Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. Sherry graduated from Chilhowie High School and loved living in this part of the world. She loved bluegrass music, fishing and the arts and crafts of White Top, our beautiful outdoors and wildlife. She always said she was blessed to live here. Sherry was the definition of wholesome. She was faithful to Freedom Tabernacle and her husband, Robert. Her greatest joys in life were being a mother to her son, Tyler Joel Hill and loving her family. If you knew her, you loved her. Sherry fought a hard, long fight and she will always be remembered for her strength and courage through it all. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tracy Henderson.
