Shirley Chatham

MARION, VIRGINIA: SHIRLEY ANN CHATHAM, age 65, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at UVA-Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born September 21, 1946 to the late William and Nannie Combs Sheets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Jack, Billy, Robert and Jimmy Sheets; two sisters, Frances Wright and Nellie Null; and a grandson, Ryan Charles Snider. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Penny Harrington and husband, Mark, Debbie Settles and husband, David and Missy Conley and husband, Richie; grandchildren, Kayla, Logan, Hope, Cody, David, Chris and James; great-grandchild, Alexus; sisters, Betty Childers, Mary Crewey and Hazel Cullop; and brothers, Joe, Tommy and David Sheets. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage and Reverend Neville Mozingo officiating. Graveside Services will be held at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
