Sidney Dillman

MARION, VIRGINIA: SIDNEY CLIFTON DILLMAN, age 86, died Sunday, August 15, 2004 in James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tennessee. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army and was a member of the Francis Marion VFW Post # 4667. Mr. Dillman was retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad after 27 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Virginia Anders Dillman. He is survived by one son, Ronald C. Dillman of Marion, Virginia. One granddaughter, Brandi N. Dillman of Marion, Virginia. Three sisters, Elizabeth Clark of Atkins, Virginia; Sadie Swanston of Manassas, Virginia; and Betty Sexton of Bluefield, Virginia. Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Harry Howe officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
