Tabitha Ruth “Tabby” Smith age 40, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Tenn.

Tabby was a wonderful lady with a huge heart. She enjoyed life with her free spirit and vibrant smile that would light up a room. Tabby was a lot of fun, beautiful inside and out, selfless, and very special to her family and friends who loved her so much. She wasn’t perfect, but she knew who is and today what a blessing to know there’s no more pain, just perfect peace with Jesus.

1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

1 Peter 5:6-11 “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Eugene Smith and Hope Julie May Smith.

Tabby is survived by her fiancé, Craig Roulo of Marion, Va.; daughters, Ava May Smith and Talia Hope Smith Vance both of Marion, Va.; sister, Angela Dawn Vance (Shawn) of Marion, Va.; brothers, Christopher Michael Smith (Kayla Renee) of Bristol, Va., Christopher Joseph Cornett and Charles Jasper Cornett both of Marion, Va.; special aunt, Mary Watson; nieces and nephews, Julie Cornett, Shaylee Cornett, Amber Harrington, Saphire Cornett, Jericho Cornett, Kaylah Harrington, Alexus Jade Smith, Justice May Ring, Christopher Hughes Smith, Santino Smith, Donald David Smith and Leland Chase McGlocklin; several great nieces and nephews; many special friends including, Donna Spach, Alisha Roberts, David Ring and the Davis family.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 29, 2023 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill.
