Thomas Randolph Testerman, (quite possibly the smartest man in the world), age 52, passed away at U.T. Medical Center; Knoxville, Tenn. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 surrounded by his children and their mother.
He loved, and was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He loved watching and coaching sports. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Ida Testerman; brother, Barry Ellis; and his sister, Kathy Ellis.
Survivors include his children, Thomas “George” Testerman and Caroline “Scrubby” Wright (Logan); love of his life and mother of his children, Sandy Stanulis; brother, Bennny Ellis (Michele); sisters, Jessica Goad (Larry) and Sherry Mitchell (Glenn); sister-in-law, Sue Ellis; several nieces and nephews; good friend, Mitch Fisher; beloved dog, Polo (Bubba).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seaver Brown Chapel in Marion, Va.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to JDRF, JDRF.org, or the Helen Ross McNabb Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center, https://www.mcnabbcenter.org/foundation/ways-give, in his memory.
