Timothy Wayne "Tim" Smith

Timothy Wayne “Tim” Smith age 56, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Va.

Tim will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, his sense of humor, his creativity, his talent as a guitarist and his spirit and determination to survive and live life on his own terms. With deepest love and affection, he will be held in the hearts of those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy W. Smith, Jr.; parents, Elizabeth G. Smith and William B. Smith.

 Tim is survived by his daughter, Kiah Smith of Va; sister, Teresa Jennings and husband, Doug of Shawsville Va.; brother, James’s “Bill” Smith and wife, Jill of Dumas Tx; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge the staff of Valley Healthcare for their care and support during the last days of Tim’s illness.

A private celebration of Tim’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
